As you may have noticed, the year 2020 has been a complete dumpster fire. While I’ve been locked away inside my home, I have, not shockingly, had an enormous amount of time on my hands. Some of that time I’ve spent reading scientific journals about the effects of COVID-19 on asthmatic patients (yes, I have become a hypochondriac) but the majority of it has been spent in front of a TV, computer, or paperback. Though I have always been told that I consume media at an alarming pace, this year when my brain heard “stay home”, it responded, “challenge accepted”.

At first, I felt transported. It’s like I was reliving both my sophomore year of high school and college simultaneously. I read Harry Potter fan fiction people. Talk about regression.

As the state of the world continued to go from “yikes” to “oh shit, this isn’t ever gonna end is it,” I found that I hadn’t just regressed, but somehow leveled up. By leveled up I mean I watched a 48 episode Chinese drama with 45 minute episodes in the course of three days.

Here’s the thing my dudes: I am very bored right now. I am also broke, and need something to do with my time other than scroll through Indeed.com like it’s the new Facebook. That being said–welcome to my review blog. TV shows, movies, Asian dramas, anime, manga, books, fan fiction–the gang’s all here. Buckle up, because I have a lot of feelings and way too much free time.
